Real estate and construction are in my blood. Growing up, my family owned a roofing company (the Tacoma Dome recover and Safeco Field are among our references) so construction and materials were go-to topics of conversation at the dinner table. It wasn’t just a job for my family – it was a way of life!
Although I initially went in a different direction, life pulled me back in and I eventually found my fit in real estate. Along the way I developed a strong finance background with a Bachelor’s Degree focused on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Washington and Central Washington University. I spent time at Holland America in individual, group and full ship charters of all things before coming back to my family’s roofing company where I put my degree to work for several years. My husband is now in the roofing industry as well.
All of the skills and experience that I gleaned along the way I now put to work for you! Although I definitely bring my research, strong communication skills, and construction expertise to the table, what I am most passionate about is helping people. If you are buying, you can think of me as your personal shopper who has carefully listened to your wants, needs, and budget and is ready to find you the perfect home. When you are ready to sell, I work closely with my network of professionals to effectively get your home listed and sold with your goals in mind. Through Coldwell Banker, my clients have the advantage of both national and international reach.
In addition to helping my clients, I am also passionate about helping our military and veterans. I donate to Special Operations Warrior Foundation which is committed to helping the families of the injured and fallen.
And speaking of passion – have you seen my brand? Are you wondering if the W stands for Wendy or UW? If you said, “Woof” you are right (although my uncles used to call me “W” so it stands for Wendy, too)! I went to UW, my son is now at UW, and multiple generations of my family have worked and played there. We have season tickets and tailgate every game! Come on by next time!
I am also very family-oriented. I love my kids, my husband, and of course, my dogs (I have three of them). We are a sports-oriented family for sure! Golf, softball, we love it all. And we love living in the best place in the world where we can enjoy it!
